Before first use
Before first use you should wipe the outside and inside of the appliance with a damp cloth for hygiene reasons.
Ventilation mode
The extracted air is discharged through the flexible outlet duct to the ventilation shaft out of the room. If the appliance
is equipped with a carbon filter,
remove it
(see chapter Cleaning and Maintenance).
1. Press button (1) for 2 seconds to switch on the appliance lighting.
2. Press the button (1) a second time and the appliance will start suctioning to a low level.
3. Press the button (1) again to increase the hood performance, first to the middle and then to the highest level. The
appliance extracts to three power levels.
4. Press the One-touch button (1) again to turn off the extraction and lighting.
Note:
The appliance is operated by one button, which is repeatedly pressed to switch on the lighting, engine power
and also switch off the hood.
Recirculation mode
If there is no possibility of discharging the extracted air out of the room, you can use the recirculation mode. In this
case, the extracted air is filtered
through the metal fat filters and the carbon filter
An active carbon in this filter
absorbs the smell. Air, free from the smell, flows back into the room through openings situated in the upper chimney
cover. When the recirculation mode is used,
it is necessary to purchase and install
the appropriate carbon filters
(see chapter Cleaning and Maintenance).
Note:
When the recirculation mode is used (carbon filter installed), the extracted air output can drop.
