Solution
The unit does not turn on after moving the
mode selector from the “O” position.
Make sure the power cord is plugged into the wall outlet properly.
The espresso or coffee is not sufficiently
hot.
Warm the cups by rinsing in hot water.
Coffee flows out too slowly.
Reduce the amount of coffee in the filter.
Coffee does not flow out of the proper
openings.
Discharge opening is clogged with dried coffee. Unclog the opening
using a pin.
Steam is not released from the nozzle.
Unclog the steam discharge opening with a needle.
There is insufficient milk froth available.
Make sure the nozzle is letting steam through. If needed, clean the
small air supply opening in the top section of the nozzle. The milk and
bowl should be cold (recommended temperature 5 – 8 °C). Change
the milk type, if necessary (whole milk or cream).
The unit does not draw water after filling
the water tank.
Make sure the tank is installed properly.
There is water or coffee under the unit.
The drip tray has overflowed. Empty the tray. Make sure the drip tray is
installed properly.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Removable drip tray
Check the cleanliness and amount of water in the drip tray regularly. The tray and grate should be washed in warm water
and wiped dry.
Coffee filter holder, coffee filter, and filter head
The filter and coffee filter holder should be washed in warm water with detergent after each use. A clogged coffee filter
may be cleaned using a fine brush. The filter head should be cleaned by turning the unit on without coffee and wiping
it with a wet cloth.
Steam nozzle
Clean the nozzle after each frothing. Dip it into a cup of warm water, open the steam valve for about 30 seconds, and
wipe it with a wet cloth. Remove the steam nozzle cover and rinse it in lukewarm water.
REPAIRS & MAINTENANCE
Any extensive maintenance or repair requiring access to the inner parts of the product must be performed by an expert
service centre.
