Las cuchillas de su recortadora son de
acero duro inoxidable y logran resultados
precisos y profesionales. Si siente que las
cuchillas tironean o enganchan el pelo,
significa que están perdiendo el filo y debe
reemplazarlas lo más pronto posible.
También se deben cambiar las guías si se
pierden o se dañan. Es más fácil cortar el
pelo con exactitud profesional cuando se
tienen las herramientas adecuadas.
Conair también fabrica una variedad de
accesorios para cortar el cabello. Si su juego
de peluquería no los incluye, los puede pedir
por separado.
Guías para contornear la oreja izquierda y
derecha brindan un corte de precisión sin
esfuerzo. Las pinzas sostienen el cabello.
El peine regular permite contornear o cortar
el cabello en ángulo. La capa de peluquero
asegura un corte cómodo y limpio y el
cómodo bolso de almacenamiento mantiene
todo sus accesorios en el mismo lugar.
También puede ordenar el DVD instructivo
de 30 minutos “Corte de cabello en casa”
con instrucciones fáciles de seguir. El DVD
muestra las técnicas básicas del corte de
cabello y presenta cuatro atractivos cortes
paso a paso. Le dará la confianza y los
conocimientos que necesita para cortar
el cabello de todos los miembros de su

PALANCA REGULADORA
Al igual que las recortadoras profesionales, su
recortadora está equipada con una palanca
reguladora ajustable al nivel del pulgar, la
cual permite controlar lo largo del recorte a
medida que corta el cabello.
La palanca reguladora permite cortar el
cabello más corto o más largo, sin tener que
usar un peine-guía. Para cortar el cabello
más corto, deslice la palanca hacia arriba.
Para cortar el cabello más largo, deslice la
palanca lentamente hacia abajo. El ajuste
más largo dejará el cabello tan corto como la
guía más corta.
El usar la palanca reguladora prolongará
la vida útil de las cuchillas, puesto que
nunca usan el mismo ángulo para cortar.
Su recortadora puede perder velocidad si
recortes de cabello están trabados en las
cuchillas. Para limpiar las cuchillas sin tener
que sacarlas, utilice el cepillo de limpieza
provisto o mueva la palanca reguladora desde
arriba hasta abajo varias veces.
Hacer esto después de cada uso,
especialmente cuando se corta mucho
cabello, mantendrá las cuchillas en condición
óptima. Si la recortadora dejara de funcionar,
y que esto no soluciona el problema,
inspeccione las cuchillas. Cámbielas si están
embotadas. Puede pedir nuevas cuchillas por
correo, mandando el formulario de pedido
adjunto y un cheque o un giro postal de

1. Abra el compartimiento de la pila,
girando la cubierta hacia la izquierda,
luego jalándola hacia abajo. Ensarte una
pila alcalina de tipo AA, el polo negativo
primero. Para lograr un rendimiento
óptimo, le recomendamos que utilice una
pila alcalina. Saque la pila del aparato
si no lo va a usar durante un tiempo
prolongado o si la pila está muerta. Esto
prolongará la vida útil del aparato.
2. Después de instalar la pila, cierre el
compartimiento y encienda el aparato
(ON).
3. Antes de dar forma a su bigote, péinelo
en dirección del crecimiento del pelo.
Sostenga el aparato en forma muy recta
y acerque las cuchillas al bigote para
empezara cortar.
4. Para limpiar las cuchillas, apague el
aparato (OFF) y empuje las cuchillas hacia
arriba con el pulgar. Esto facilitará la limp-
ieza, puesto que el cabezal está montado
en bisagras. Limpie los recortes de pelo
con el cepillo de limpieza provisto o sop-
lando sobre las cuchillas.
5. Empuje el cabezal hacia abajo hasta
que haga clic. La recortadora de detalle es
perfecta para cortar el cabello en la nuca,

TAPER LEVER
Just like professional clippers, the
Conair 5 position taper lever is positioned at
your thumb. You can hold the clipper
in your hand and adjust the lever at the
same time...while you’ re clipping .
This taper lever eliminates the need for
an attachment comb because it lets you
gradually adjust the closeness of the cut.
For the closest cut and the shortest
hair, push taper lever up to position #1.
To incr ease cutting length, slo wly push
lever down. If you push to the lo west
position, it will lea ve hair about the same
length as the short attachment.
Because a different cutting edge is used in
each setting , the taper lever lengthens the life
of your blades.
Packed-in hair can slo w do wn any clipper.
To r emo ve hair without remo ving the blades,
use the cleaning brush provided or gently
move the taper control to loosen pac ked-
in hair. If you do this after ever y clipping,
especially with heavy hair cutting , the blades

1. To insert battery, remo ve compartment
cover b y tur ning bottom piece of trimmer
to the left, then pulling str aight down.
Insert one AA alkaline batter y, positive
end up (Alkaline batteries will ensure the
best perform ance and longest life for your
appliance.) If you ar e not going to use the
unit for a long period of time, or if the
battery is dead, remo ve the battery from
the unit. This will incr ease the life of your
trimmer.

3. To trim your mustache , use the
mustache comb to comb hair in the
direction of g rowth. Hold trimmer in an

against the blade. This will make it easy
to clean, since head co ver is on a hinge.
