2000 Driver Installation
Follow the steps below to install the driver for
Comsol USB Infrared Adapter
:
6.3.1 Power on the computers that you will use to connect the Comsol USB
Infrared Adapter and make sure the USB port is enabled and working
properly.
6.3.2 Put the driver CD into the CD-ROM and run the
D:\
Infrared UIR-
120\Drivers\WINDOWS\SETUP.EXE.
6.3.3 The dialog box will appear as below, click
“NEXT”
to continue.
6.3.4 You can choose the destination folder that you want to install or use the
default setting
(C:\WINNT\USB-IrDA),
then
click
“NEXT”
to continue.
6.3.5 The InstallShield Wizard will then install the driver on your system.
6.3.6 When the dialog box appears as below, plug the
USB-IrDA Adapter
into
the USB port. Windows will auto detect the new device and install the
needed driver onto your system. After all step finished, click
“Finish”
to
complete the installation step.
