5.0  GAS FLOW SURGE 

"P"

 MEASUREMENT 

5.1

 

Description 

The GTFM has a peak value "sample and hold" feature.  This allows the user to 
measure the maximum gas flow rate, which occurred during the welding cycle.  The 
maximum value is the result of a gas surge, which occurs when the gas solenoid is 
activated.  The 

"MODE" 

switch on the front panel is used to display the maximum 

flow rate.  The maximum value is displayed by pressing the

 "MODE"

 switch to the up 

position consecutively until the 

"P"

 parameter is displayed.  The maximum value is
