Pre-compressed air is fed into the high-pressure cylinder, and then along the discharge pipe
into the pressure vessel.
Once the working pressure is reached, the compressor stops and surplus air in the compres-
sor pump and delivery pipe is discharged through the dump valve under the pressure switch.
During air consumption, pressure falls in the pressure vessel and when the lower limit is
reached, the electric motor turns on again. The performance is controlled automatically after
the compressor is started up by means of the periodic starting and stopping of the compres-
sor.
The regular running time is 20 minutes and the downtime is 5 minutes (in order to avoid
overheating).
