Secure the assembly clip on the front side of the processor to the socket
, and then
lock the processor in place by pressing down on the assembly clip lever
.
Caution:
Applying too much pressure on the lever could break it. Use care when
performing this step.
10.
Install the corresponding PPM before powering up the server. (See
Installing the PPM for
Processor 2
.)
11.
Reinstall the fan baffle by reversing Step 4.
