For 2U 16-port switches (such as 380578–B21/
DS–DSGGA–AB) in rack-front and rack-rear installations,
see Figures 15 and 16.

Use four pan head SEMS screws (10-32 x 9/32 inches) and
four flat washers to attach the mounting brackets to the
switch.

— For rack-front installations, attach the brackets as

shown in Figure 15.

— For rack-rear installations, attach the brackets as shown

in Figure 16.

Installing the Switch into the Rack

CAUTION:

Keep the switch parallel to the floor while sliding the

slide brackets into the mounting brackets. Tilting the switch up or
down may result in damage to the brackets.

IMPORTANT:

All switches use the same cable routing method, so a

representative example is used here to illustrate this process.

Insert the switch slide brackets into the rack mounting brackets
until fully seated, and secure the front and rear, using pan head
SEMS screws (10-32 x 5/8 inches).

Secure the front of the switch as shown in Figure 17
(representative example).

Secure the rear of the switch as shown in Figure 18
(representative example).
