LIGHTING THE BURNER
Make sure the control knob is set to the OFF position.
Step 1.
Select the burner to be ignited, push and
slowly turn the gas control in an anti-clockwise
direction approximately ¼ of a turn.
Step 2.
Depress the Piezo button firmly and look for a
spark from the electrode positioned above the burner.
Note
: If burner does not ignite, return the control
knob back to the OFF position, allow the excess gas to
disperse then repeat ignition process.
ADJUSTING THE FLAME
Press the gas control and turn in an anti-clockwise
direction to achieve a lower flame and in the clockwise
direction for a higher flame. Turn the control fully
clockwise to turn the appliance OFF.
Note
:
When operating the appliance in windy conditions
it is important to regularly check the burner to ensure
that the flame has not been extinguished. If so turn the
gas control off, allow residual gas to disperse. Relocate
the appliance to a more sheltered position before
attempting to reignite the burner.
