CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

•  Ensure unit is switched off and disconnected from a power 

source before cleaning 

•  Clean outer casing with a damp cloth only – do not use any 

abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals

•  Check condition of fi lters and water tank before each use

•  Ensure water tank is completely dry before attaching to unit

REMOVING DUST AND 
HONEYCOMB FILTERS

•  Ensure the unit is switched off and disconnected from 

a power source

•  Unscrew plastic casing on back of unit to remove fi lters

 

•  Clean using a damp cloth only. Do not use strong cleaners or 

an excessive amount of water

•  Ensure all components are completely dry before reattaching 

to unit 

TO REPLACE BATTERY

•  Ensure unit is switched off and not connected to an

AC power outlet

•  Open battery door on back of unit

•  Remove battery from mounting plate and unscrew

•  Pull out wire connectors of battery terminal and remove 

from battery

•  Attach wire connectors to new battery, put on mounting plate 

and re-attach screws

•  Replace battery cover

ABOUT THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

•  Do not charge appliance with different types of rechargeable 

batteries than battery type included

•  Do not fi t non-rechargeable batteries

•  When recharging the battery, ensure the appliance is in a well-

ventilated area and switched off

•  Ensure battery is placed correctly in battery compartment 

according to battery polarity (+) and (-)

•  Do not put battery into fi re and avoid reverse charging

•  Battery must be charged for approximately 12 hours in order to 

be fully charged

•  Ensure the appliance is disconnected from power supply 

before removing the battery

•  A leaking battery must be carefully removed from the 

appliance and disposed of properly
