AEROHEAT SHOWER OWNERS MANUAL

TROUBLESHOOTING

This guide should be followed in case of failure of the 
appliance to operate correctly. 

If symptoms persist contact Customer Service on  
1300 362 921.

Do not attempt to repair or modify the appliance.

ABNORMAL OPERATION

Unit will not operate 

Check that appliance is switched on
Check thre outlet hose & fitting are 
correctly connected to the appliance
Check that fuse is not blown
Check that adequate DC power is available
Check DC fuse in cigarette lighter fitting

Unit will not switch on  

- display will not 
illuminate

Check DC fuse in cigarette lighter fitting
Check that adequate AC/DC power is 
available
Check if battery requires recharging

Burner will not light

Check that gas cylinder is turned on and 
that there is gas in cylinder
Check that outlet hose & fitting are 
correctly connected 
Check there are no error messages on 
the display
Turn fan speed down

Check there is sufficient gas

Air is too hot

Turn fan up to MAX
Turn burner off & only operate fan

ERROR CODES

The appliance is fitted with a number of operational and 
safety features that can be identified by the following 
error codes. In the event that the unit will not operate 
refer to the Troubleshooting Guide:

E1:

 Outlet hose fitting not connected or not connected 

correctly

E2:

 Tilt switch activated – place on level surface and 

re-start appliance

E3:

 No flame / burner not lit – Check gas cylinder & 

connections

E6:

 Over temperature shut off – Once activated this will 

take at least 5 minutes to cool down - the only way to 
restart is to wait  5 minutes & turn off/on then attempt 
restart

 Allow heater to cool down for approximately 5 minutes 

to clear over temp error 

Try using heater again - If overtemp error appears again 
it may be too warm to use the heater, the unit is only 
suitable for use in ambient temperatures under 15˚c
