12.3. Silicon curtain replacement (F8 model)
The silicon curtain ensures consistency in the dose and reduces static electricity.
Located inside the coffee outlet ( ), it can be replaced by following the steps below:
1.
Remove the grind regulator control knob ( ) loosening the fixing bolt with an
Allen key No. 2.5

Remove the four screws securing the cover using an
Allen key No. 2.5
.
3.
Remove the four screws fixing the base of aluminum siding, using an
Allen key
No. 2.5
.
4.
Remove the coffee outlet ( ), by removing the two retaining screws using an
Allen key No. 2.5
At this point, access to the silicon curtain is possible. Replace
the silicon curtain with a new silicon curtain of different thicknesses according
to the needs of each coffee. Simply remove the screw curtain using a
#10 Torx
wrench
