2.4 Cable Gland Feature
The EPX panel is designed for connection of fiber cables using cable glands inserted into cable
entry slots provided (see
). For more information, refer to
Figure 4. Direct Connection of Fiber Cables Using Fiber Glands
Note:
Another method for securing fiber cables is the use of optional rack mounted brackets,
which is not covered here.
Cables can also be secured with tie wraps and the lances
provided in the back of the panel.
