Consumers
HTTP port
: In this field, the HTTP port of the camera server that can be accessed through a web
browser or third-party application can be changed.

Consumer
: Shows the allocated profile number of the respective camera. This parameter is re-
quired to gain access to the desired video stream through a web browser or third-party application.
Camera
: In this field, enter the number of a configured camera to reference it with this profile.
Resolution
: In this drop-down list, the resolution of the camera can be selected.
FPS
: Move the slider to the desired frames-per-second value for the consumer.
Type
: In this drop-down list, the type of the consumer can be selected. The following types are
available:
HTTP Surveillance
: The consumer can always be triggered by a web browser or third-party
application. The referenced camera stream cannot be muted during a conversation. The checkbox
Enable authentication
will be activated (
HTTP Call
: The consumer can be triggered by a web browser or third-party application. The
referenced camera stream can be muted during a conversation. The checkbox
Enable authenti-
cation
will be activated (
SIP Video
: The consumer is used for a SIP video conversation, but cannot be accessed via a web
browser or a third-party application. The referenced camera stream can be muted during a
conversation.
(Optional)
Enable authentication
: Activate this checkbox to enable an authentication at the select-
ed external or internal camera before an HTTP client can request the video stream of the camera. The
fields
Username
and
Password
will be activated.
Username
: In this field, enter the user name to gain access to the video stream of the camera (if
required).
Password
: In this field, enter the password to gain access to the video stream of the camera (if re-
quired).
Delete
: Click on this button to delete the entire configuration of the consumer (the referenced
camera will not be deleted).
Add Consumer
: Click on this button to add a new consumer.
Click on the button
APPLY
to save the settings.
ATTENTION: Do not use well-known port numbers
Do not use any well-known port numbers for the HTTP port (e.g. “8080”)!
NOTE: Cameras as profiles
Only numbers of configured cameras are valid entries.
ATTENTION: Camera resolution
The resolution is limited to 640 x 480 pixels!
ATTENTION: Configuration of a call via HTTP
Only one consumer can be configured as the type “SIP Video” or “HTTP Call”!
If there is more than one consumer with the type “HTTP Surveillance” for the same camera
number, the consumer with the highest resolution / FPS setting will be displayed!
