How to hook it up: 

The unit comes with an easy plug-in 3 prong wire harness that to retrofits to the exisitng solenoid. There is a second easy plug-in 2 prong 

wire harness that connects to the power from the power supply.  The harness should be connected to the positive and negative leads from 

the power supply.  Generic examples and specific retrofits are shown below.

Power transfer from hinge jamb to exit device:

A power transfer hinge or door loop may be used provided the wire gauge meets or exceeds 22 gauge.

Wire Run Guidelines: 

For best results we recommend that your maximum wire run not exceed the following: 

                              18ga.= 700’               16ga. = 1000’                  14ga. = 1250’                  12ga. = 1500’.  

Note: A longer wire run than the maximum distances listed may result in an increased delay time and possible solenoid “drop out” due to
