2.0 Power Requirements

DA-14V-2 is powered by the 9 Volt AC adapter equipped with the unit.

The adapter must be fitted in a 220-240 Volt / 50 Hz Socket.

Note:

Units don't have adjustments or settings inside.
Servicing must be made by qualified personnel.

3.0 Settings

The ID bit (Identification bit) switch on the front panel is for enabling the graphic
card of some notebooks.

The BOOST switch on the front panel is for amplifing the output signals 1 - 4 for a

longer cable run.

Put the switch in ON position to enable the DA-14V-2 for cable lengths equal or
greater than 30 Meter. The cable length can be up to 50 Meters (depending on the
quality of the cable).

4.0 Attaching Inputs and Outputs and Power Up

a)

 

Be sure that all units to be installed are switched OFF.

b)

 

Connect the graphic out of your computer to the connector GRAPHIC IN of

the DA-14V-2 unit by the cable included with the unit.

c)

 

Connect a local monitor to the out OUT1 (LOCAL).

d)

 

Connect the displays/projectors to the outputs OUT 2 – 4 or of the DA-14V-2

e)

 

Power the unit as described in chapter 2.0 and check that the POWER LED on

the front panel lights up.

f)

 

Check luminance and sharpness on the displays/projectors with some

different images from the source. Set the BOOST switch either ON or OFF
depending und the signals level.

Note:

The DA-14V-2 is cascadable.

Use output OUT 1 (LOCAL) or one of the outputs 2-4 to feed the signal

into the next unit, depending on the cable length between the units.

You can also try to switch the Boost on or off for best signal quality.
