OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
2.1
INTRODUCTION
This section contains the general operating instructions and procedures for the
Model 622CS Video Crosshatch Overlay Generator.
2.2
INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
Connect a camera or other source of a composite video signal to the VIDEO IN
connector on the rear of the 622CS. Connect a video monitor to the VIDEO OUT connector.
Apply power to the camera, monitor and the Crosshatch Generator. Be sure to use
only a 5VDCregulated power supply. Any other type of supply could cause an unstable line
display or damage to the unit. The monitor will display the subject viewed by the camera
with hrosshatch superimposed.
Adjust the position, frequency, and display controls as desired.

CONTROLS
2.3.1 OPERATING CONTROLS

H Position
Sets horizontal position of the vertical lines,
H Frequency
Sets the number of, and spacing between, vertical lines.
Each successive line, left to right, moves further per
click of the knob. The first line moves one pixel, the second
two, the third three, the fourth four...
V Position
Sets vertical position of the horizontal lines
V Frequency
Sets the number of, and spacing between, horizontal lines.
Each successive line, top to bottom, moves further
per click of the knob. The first line moves one pixel, the
second two, the third three, the fourth four...
White/Black
Sets color of line display
On/Off
Turns the crosshatch overlay On or Off
