Operation
Charging
Before using the clipper for the first time, the battery must be fully charged.
Full charge is achieved after about 90 minutes of charging.
• Connect the adaptor to a wall socket and then to the charging station.
• Place the clipper into the charging station.
• Charging status will show in the display.
• A fully charged battery will give about 50 minutes of use.
• When the clipper is turned on the battery status will immediately be indicated
in the display.
• When the battery is fully charged it will show 100 %. When battery capacity
reaches 20% the display will change to red, which indicates that the battery
needs to be recharged.
• The battery may be charged detached from the unit but will then take approximately
ten hours to fully charge.
You can also use the clipper without going through the entire charging process:
1. Connect the mains adaptor to a wall socket.
2. Connect the mains adaptor directly to the clipper.
3. Remember to recharge the battery after use.
4. Do not use the clipper for more than one hour with the charging cable connected.
Note:
Battery life will be shortened if the clipper is used too often with the charging
cable connected. Make a habit of charging the battery and using the clipper without
the charging cable connected.
Hair cutting
Note:
The cutter blade is very sharp. Be careful when using the clipper without
the guide combs.
• Only use the clipper on dry hair.
• It may be advisable to start with a longer attachment comb and then switch to
a shorter one for the best results.
• The clipper can be set to various cutting lengths from 0.5 mm up to 30 mm.
Cutting lengths 0.5–2.5 mm
Use the clipper without a guide comb and set the cutting length using
the slide control.
Cutting lengths 4–30 mm
Using guide combs: There are five comb attachments: 4–6, 10–12, 16–18, 22–24
and 28–30 mm plus a thinning comb. Use the slide control to finely adjust the cutting
length when using the guide combs.
