Gas Blow Torch

Please read the entire instruction manual before using the product and
then save it for future reference. We reserve the right for any errors in

Safety
Warning:
• Keep the gas torch out of children’s reach.
• Never store the gas torch in temperatures above +50 °C and do
not expose it to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
• The gas torch must only be used in well ventilated areas and well
away from flammable materials and liquids.
Fire hazard!
• Do not use the gas torch to light cigarettes, cigars or pipes.
• Contains extremely highly flammable pressurised gas.
• Only use butane (intended for refilling cigarette lighters) when refilling.
• Avoid inhaling the fumes from soldering or from other applications.
Make sure the area is well ventilated.
• The flame of the gas torch is very hot and can burn you; protect
your hands and face. Bear in mind that the flame can be difficult
to see.
• Make sure that the gas torch is completely turned off and cold
before putting it away.
• Hold the gas torch upright, the flame could go out if the torch is
used in other positions.
• Allow the torch to cool completely before refilling it.
• The gas torch must not be modified or disassembled.
• Do not puncture the gas canister or throw it onto the fire.
• Light the gas torch with the nozzle pointing away from your face
and hands. Bear in mind that in certain situations the butane flame
is barely visible.
Care and maintenance
Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Buttons and functions
Use
1. Set the gas flow control (3) half way between

2. Slide the safety lock (4) down with your thumb until a click is
heard, indicating that the torch is now in the open position.
3. Press the ignition button (1) to light. Keep it pressed down for
as long as you wish the flame to burn.
Note:
The torch may
sometimes require 2 to 3 attempts before it ignites. The safety lock
must be pulled down for each attempt in order to put the torch
back into the open position and before pressing the ignition
button again.
4. Adjust the flame intensity by using the gas flow control.
5. Release the ignition button to extinguish the flame. This will also
reset the safety lock.
Continuous flame
1. Set the gas flow control (3) half way between

heard, indicating that the torch is now in the open position.
3. Set the flame settings switch (2) to the
CONTINUOUS
position.
4. Press the ignition button (1) to light the flame.
5. Adjust the flame intensity by using the gas flow control.
6. Move the flame settings switch to the
OFF
position to extinguish
the flame.

Refuelling
•
Note:
The gas torch is supplied without gas; fill the torch with gas
before use.
• The gas torch operates on regular butane gas intended for
the refuelling of cigarette lighters.
• Refuel the gas torch in a well ventilated area, a safe distance from
open flames.
1. Extinguish the flame and make sure that it is completely out.
2. Allow the gas torch to cool down for 5 minutes before filling
the gas container.
3. Remove the rubber base, turn the torch upside down and insert
the filler nozzle of the gas container into the refill valve of the torch.
4. Press the nozzle into the refill valve and release the gas.
When the gas starts escaping from the sides of the nozzle,
the gas torch is full and the gas refilling nozzle can be removed.
5. Leave the gas to stabilise for at least 2 minutes after refilling before
you use the gas torch.

the environment or health hazards caused by incorrect
waste disposal, the product must be handed in for
recycling so that the material can be disposed of in
a responsible manner. When recycling your product, take
it to your local collection facility or contact the place of
purchase. They will ensure that the product is disposed of
in an environmentally sound manner.
