Colight RadioRay 2049 Instruction Manual Download Page 2

The Golight® RadioRay® Models 2067/2049 & 20674/02494

are designed to be permanently attached to a vehicle.  The

2-Speed Searchlight with Directional Flexibility is controlled by

a wireless remote, or a wired dash mount control, which gives

the operator a full 370° horizontal rotation and a 135° vertical

tilt with fingertip control.

The RadioRay® provides superior light penetration with Cr5

PentaBeam™ technology in a halogen configuration or with

state of the art P-Vex™ lens and LED technology.

The RadioRay® Includes:

• RadioRay® Searchlight

• Wireless Remote Control

• Wired Dash Mount Remote Control

• 2 A23 12V Batteries

• Permanent Mounting Gasket

• Screw and Caps

• Rockguard (not Available with LED units)

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

Determine location of dash-mount remote.  Create an opening

and insert dash-mount remote with correlating quick connect

on 20’ cord. (Extra 10’ and 20’ quick connect harnesses are

available, if needed.)  Connect power wires to 12 v D.C.

The 12 Volt DC power wire should be joined to the leads on the

20’ cable with appropriate automotive wire attachments.  It is

critical that polarity be observed.  The (+) lead of the Golight®

is marked with a red tag.  The power should be fused at 10

Amps and be on a dedicated circuit or wired to an appropriate

automotive relay system.

Determine location for Golight®.  The small arrow on the base

indicates the normal forward direction of the light. Create

opening for Golight® cord.  Place gasket on Golight® and

attach correlating quick-connect to Golight®.  Position the con-

nection point beneath the mounting surface and use silicone

sealant to fill opening around the harness.  Set light in place

and mount light base to surface with screws provided.  Cover

screws with the 4 caps provided.

NOTE:  The small drain hole in the edge of the gasket should

normally face opposite the forward direction of the vehicle—

opposite the arrow molded in the front of the base.  Silicone

or other like sealants should not be used around the base

gasket as it will limit the Golight’s ability to drain excess water

properly.

** Attach Dash-Mount Remote to designated location with screws.

Unit is installed.
