8.2 – Development Board Connections

Connections

The CR822x connects to the development
board via J23.

RJ-50 System Header

The majority of system communication goes
through the RJ-50 System Header. The RJ-50
cable provides power to the development kit
and is available in RS232 or USB version.
There is also the ability to trigger through
this connection.

Auxiliary and Debug Serial Headers

J2 and J3 provide auxiliary communications to
the CR822x for development and test purposes.
J2 is a serial console interface to the engine,
and J3 is attached to RS232 Port 4.
