Installation and Mounting (Driver Side):
Step 1.
Refer to the Ford Service manual to remove the front facia
from the Ford Fusion.
Step 2.
Install the speaker onto the bracket by threading two (2) ¼”-
20 X 1 ¼” Phillips pan head screws with two (2) ¼” split lock wash-
ers through the holes in the bracket and into the threaded holes in
the back side of the speaker body as shown in Figure 1. Tighten the
screws until the lock washers fully flatten out but do not over tighten.
Note: Make sure the speaker is mounted in the correct orienta-
tion with the word “BOTTOM” at the bottom of the assembly
(See Figure 1 for correct speaker orientation). Caution: Severe
damage could occur to the speaker if it is not mounted in the
proper orientation.
Step 3.
Locate and loosen the two (2) vehicle bolts shown in Figure
2.
Step 4.
Slip the mounting flange of the speaker bracket into position
as shown in Figure 3.
Step 5.
Hold the speaker bracket assembly in position while tight-
ening the two (2) vehicle bolts to fasten the speaker bracket to the
vehicle as shown in Figure 4.
Step 6.
The finished assembly will look as shown in Figure 5.
Step 7.
Connect the unit’s wires to customer supplied wires & route
to the desired power source.
