III.  REMOTE CONTROL (optional)

WARNING:

The 15.0 may be operated by an optional remote control. Coda provides a remote
manufactured by Universal Remote Control (model MX350) preprogrammed for use
with several Coda amplifiers. Before operating the remote, you should read the
manufacturer’s manual in detail in order to understand it’s general functionality and
how to integrate it into your existing audio-visual system.

To operate the 15.0 remotely, select “AMP” from the main menu, then either select
the “BIAS” or “INPUT” entries from the submenu, or use the buttons as indicated
below. These functions correspond to the buttons on the amplifier’s faceplate. For
reference, BIAS toggles the state of the bias circuitry (standby) on and off and INPUT
toggles between the balanced and unbalanced audio inputs.

The manufacturer’s manual for the universal remote control gives instructions for
clearing the remote’s settings and restoring it to a “factory” default condition. This
will make the remote INOPERABLE with your Coda amplifier. Restoring remote
functionality will require sending your remote back to the Coda factory for
reprogramming. If you are programming your remote for use with other devices and
are unsure if you are going to interfere with Coda programming, contact us at the
phone number or email address on the back of this manual.
