Getting started
1. Always unplug the engraver before cleaning it or replacing the tip.
2. Undo the locking screw (2) using the included hex key.
3. Insert a carbide tip, pushing it in as far as it will go.
4. Tighten the locking screw.
5. Put the hex key back into its holder.
Operating instructions
1. Always wear safety glasses and ear defenders when using the engraver.
2. Check that the carbide tip is intact and properly fitted.
3. Plug the mains lead into a wall socket.
4. Hold the engraver in the same way as you would hold a pen.
5. You may engrave freehand or use the stencils as a guide.
6. Apply only light pressure whilst engraving.
