The following table shows the meaning of error codes that might appear on
the display.

Change the batteries.

The meter is too hot.

Change the target surface for
the laser beam (e.g. put up a piece
of white paper).

Background lighting too strong.
Ensure that the surface where
the laser beam strikes is shaded.

The measurement is outside
the max./min. measurement range.

Hardware error.
Try switching the meter on and off
a few times. If this doesn’t solve
