Care and maintenance
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Unplug the mains lead before changing the sanding belt or carrying out any maintenance,
or service.
• Keep the motor ventilation openings free from contaminants.
• Wipe the exterior of the belt sander clean with a dry cloth and vacuum clean it if needed.
• Store the belt sander in a dry place out of children’s reach whenever it is not to be used for
a long time.
Troubleshooting guide
Sander doesn’t start.
• Make sure that the mains lead is undamaged and
securely plugged into a wall socket.
• Is the wall socket live?
The sander runs slowly. • Do not apply too much downward pressure on the sanding belt.
Poor sanding result.
• Is the sanding belt worn? Replace if necessary.
