Battery Switch
Battery Switch
The batteries are located under the aft helm seat cushion. The battery switch panel with
main breakers is located on the inboard wall of the station that holds the helm seat.
There are independent battery switches for the engine and house batteries and an
emergency parallel switch that can be used to join the two batteries together in case the
engine battery does not have enough power to crank the engine. It is advised that the
battery switches be kept in the off position when the boat is not being used to prevent
any prolo
nged power drainage. To turn the switches to the “ON” position simply turn
the knobs clockwise a quarter turn. You will then be able to see the green area with the
“ON” label. The “
house
”
battery switch controls all the electrical systems on the boat
other
than for the engine, which is controlled by the “Engine” switch.
and the operator
can choose which battery to utilize by the selection on the switch. (Refer to Deck Wire
Harness diagram, page 30).
