Unpack the PIU ADUand ACU. Check that the following items are present:

• SAILOR 7006D ADU

• Accessory kit for SAILOR 7006D ADU:

• Package with bolts and washers
• Lifting  harness

• SAILOR 7016C ACU

• Accessory kit for SAILOR 7016C ACU:

• NMEA multi-connector
• RJ45 patch cable (0.5 m)

Initial inspection

Inspect the shipping cartons immediately upon receipt for evidence of damage during 
transport. If the shipping material is severely damaged or water stained, request that the 
carrier's agent be present when opening the cartons. Save all box packing material for future 
use.
