Operating instructions
1. Make sure that the garden hose is undamaged and properly connected to the tap
and the pressure washer.
2. Open the water tap completely (or as much as needed to supply the pressure
washer).
Note:
Never operate the washer without the water supply connected.
Dry running will damage the machine.
3. Pull the trigger (13) to allow any air left in the system to escape, hold the trigger in
until water begins flowing out. The trigger lock (14) on the trigger gun can be used
to prevent the trigger from moving. Note the symbols on the handle of the gun.
4. Plug the mains lead into a wall socket, pull the trigger on the trigger gun, point
the lance towards an open space without any obstacles.
5. Set the power switch (1) to the
I/ON
position. The pressure washer will now start.
6. Aim the lance at the surface to be cleaned and move the water jet over
the surface. If using the lance with the adjustable nozzle, adjust the nozzle
to the desired setting. The recommended distance between the nozzle and
the surface to be cleaned is approx. 30 cm. Shorter distances provide a higher
degree of cleaning power, but can damage the surface being cleaned. Longer
distances result in a gentler cleaning jet for sensitive surfaces.
Important considerations
• The temperature of the inlet water must not exceed 40 ºC. The pressure washer
must be operated in an upright/vertical position. It must not be used in the lying/
horizontal position.
• Never use a shorter inlet water hose than 5 metres (1/2
″
hose). The hose buffers
possible pressure surges in the water lines and protects the pressure washer and
allows it work smoothly.
• The lance will recoil when water jets out, so it is important to hold the lance firmly
with both hands while standing in a balanced position.
• Never point the water spray at people, animals, the pressure washer itself or any
other electrical equipment.
• Wear safety goggles since water and particles can spray back towards you off
the objects onto which the water jet is directed.
Note:
Turn off the pressure washer and pull the plug if you take a longer pause from
the job. Do not leave the machine on while unattended.
