Note
: When notching
the frame padding, only
cut half-way across the
width of the padding.
Also, the height of the
cut or notch should
match or be slightly less
than the height of the
obstacle. In this example
we’re cutting around the
seat-stay bridge. The
same process would be
used for a brake mount.
The padding is stretchy
so these notches don’t
need to be exact.
Shorter height cuts are
often better than taller
cuts.
