6. Connect the end of the second cable to the negative (-) terminal of the booster battery. Connect the other end of
the same cable to the negative (-) terminal of the disabled vehicle battery
(Figure 3-7, Page 3-7) .
7. Start the engine. After the engine has started, remove the cable from the negative (-) terminal of the disabled
vehicle battery first. Next, remove the other end of the cable from the negative (-) terminal of the booster battery.
Then, remove the cable from the positive (+) terminal of the solenoid followed by the other end of the cable
from the positive (+) terminal of the booster battery.
