1. Disconnect battery and spark plug wire(s). See Disconnecting the Battery – Gasoline Vehicles on page 1-4.
2. Raise the hood, remove the access panel and disconnect the multi-pin connector from the key switch.
3. Disconnect the two bullet connectors (Figure 11-25, Page 11-24 and Figure 11-26, Page 11-24) , the charge coil
plug with the two yelllow wires (Figure 11-27, Page 11-25) and the 18-gauge white/black stripe wire (w83) from
the engine (Figure 11-28, Page 11-25) .
4. Disconnect the 16-gauge green wire (w110) from the starter solenoid coil (Figure 11-29, Page 11-25) .
