F&R Shifter Cable Installation, Continued:

• If wires are removed or replaced, make sure wiring and wiring harness is properly routed and
secured to vehicle frame. Failure to properly route and secure wiring could result in vehicle
malfunction, property damage or personal injury.
F&R SHIFTER CABLE ADJUSTMENT
With the shifter lever of the unitized transaxle in the NEUTRAL position (Figure 16-115, Page 16-47), the
Forward/Reverse handle (9) (Figure 16-116, Page 16-48) should be straight up. For minor adjustments, the
nut (1) may be loosened and the ball joint socket (2) rotated to get the proper adjustment (Figure 16-116,
Page 16-48). See following CAUTION.
