BELOW OBSTACLES
WARNING
DO NOT OPERATE THE VEHICLE BELOW OBJECTS WITH A HEIGHT
THAT IS LESS THAN THE HEIGHT OF THE VEHICLE.
Driving below obstacles is not recommended.
Precautions if operation below obstacles is unavoidable:
• Always examine the terrain for obstacles before driving in a new area.
• Look forward and learn to read the terrain. Be constantly alert for low hanging obstacles such as
tree limbs.
• Drive slowly and use caution when operating on unfamiliar terrain. Not all obstacles are
immediately visible.
NIGHT TIME
DANGER
OPERATING THE VEHICLE AT NIGHT WITHOUT THE CORRECT
EQUIPMENT CAN CAUSE PROPERTY DAMAGE, SERIOUS
PERSONAL INJURY, OR DEATH. TO OPERATE THE VEHICLE AT
NIGHT, THE VEHICLE MUST HAVE HEADLIGHTS, TAILLIGHTS,
AND REFLECTORS.
Vehicle operation at night is not recommended. When driving at night is unavoidable, the vehicle must
have:
• Headlights
• Taillights
• Reflectors
Precautions if driving at night is unavoidable:
• Always have headlights on.
• Always examine the terrain for obstacles before driving in a new area.
• Look forward and learn to read the terrain. Be constantly alert for hazards.
• Drive slowly and use caution when operating on unfamiliar terrain. Not all obstacles are
immediately visible.
THROUGH WATER
WARNING
DRIVING THROUGH WATER CAN DECREASE BRAKE
PERFORMANCE. AFTER DRIVING THROUGH WATER, LIGHTLY
PUSH THE BRAKE PEDAL TO CHECK THE BRAKE PERFORMANCE.
IF THE VEHICLE SPEED DOES NOT DECREASE AT A NORMAL RATE,
CONTINUE TO PUSH THE BRAKE PEDAL UNTIL THE BRAKE
PERFORMANCE IS BACK TO NORMAL.
Vehicle operation through water is not recommended and should be avoided.
Precautions when driving through water is unavoidable:
• Decrease the vehicle speed.
• Use extreme caution.
• Do not drive through water that is more than 3 inches (7.62 cm) deep.
