1.

Disable the vehicle.

2.

Electric Vehicle:

Disconnect the batteries and discharge the controller.

Gasoline Vehicle:

Disconnect battery and spark plug wire.

3.

Remove the steering wheel.

4.

Remove the dash insert, instrument panel, dash assembly, and front bumper.

5.

Remove the bolt (1)

(Figure 7-4)

.

6.

Remove the bolts (2).

7.

Remove the steering column (3) from the vehicle.
