1.
Initial Setup
(important for correct setting of radio-controlled watch)
Due to heavy shocks or magnetic fields the hand position may differ from the internally saved radio time. The initial setup serves to
resynchronise the hands with the internally saved radio time.
Pull out the crown to stage 1 and press button 1 until the second hand is on 12.
Leave the crown on stage 1 and rotate the crown left or right, until hands are on 12. Now all three hands align with 12.
Set crown to its initial position and the watch begins to receive the signal. The second hand rotates to 11.
2.
Reception Control
This function is for the searching and setting of the radio-control signal. Press button 1 for 3 seconds. The searching for the signal begins
when the second hand rotates and aligns with 11. The watch now tries to receive the signal. This process takes 3
– 8 minutes. If this was
successful, the correct time is displayed directly. If this process was unsuccessful, the second hand rotates to 6 and stops there. After 30
seconds, the watch shows the previously displayed time.
3.
Checking Radio Reception
(Reception control of the last radio signal. The signal is sent/received every night between 3 and 4 o’clock.)
Press button 2.
The second hand rotates and aligns with 12, if the transmitter search was successful. If the process was not successful, the second hand
rotates onto 6 and stops for 5 seconds. The radio time is shown again after 3 minutes.
4.
Manual Mode
If the watch is being used outside of Europe, the time has to be set manually, because the radio signal cannot be assigned.
For the manual time setting the crown has to be on stage 1 and button 1 has to be pressed until the second hand aligns with 6. Press and hold
button 2 for 5 seconds. Now the second hand rotates to 12. Then rotate the crown until the desired time is set. Bring the crown into its initial
position. The second hand starts running and the local time is set.
5.
Reset (change from manual mode to radio-controlled mode)
Follow point 1 Initial Setup.
6.
Declaration of conformity
Herewith, we declare that this wrist-watch complies with the fundamental requirements and other relevant regulations of the guiding principles
of 1999/5/EG.
7.
This point equates to the EMV guidelines of the EU.
8.
Water Resistance according to DIN 8310
The water resistance rating is shown on the back of the watch. The rating for a new watch is as follows:
WR
: Not water resistant.
3 Bar
: Can withstand splashes of water while washing hands or rain.
5 Bar
: Can withstand splashes of water while washing hands or rain. Suitable for taking a bath.
