FUEL COCK
The type of motorcycle is equiped with manual with manual
acting fuel lever. There are three positions:
“ON”, “RESERVE” and ”OFF”
OFF
After the engine stops for a few minutes, put the fuel lever to
“
OFF ” position.
ON
Normal position while operating the motorcycle. At this time,
the gasoline flows through the fuel lever to carburettor.
RES
If the fuel level in the fuel tank is too low, turn the lever to the
“
RESERVE ” position to use the reserved fuel.
WARNING
When putting the fuel lever to “ ON ” or “ RES ” position, it is possible to cause carbu-
rettor fuel overflow and fuel flows into the engine. When starting engine, it is possible
to cause serious mechanical damage with fuel in the engine.
Therefore, after shut off the engine, it is required to turn the fuel cock into “
OFF ”
position.
