SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS HOOK REST.
This note contains the necessary information for a correct use of the following
product/s: Hook Rest, connector supports for harness.
1) FIELD OF APPLICATION.
Hook Rest supports are not Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) and they are
not designed to support the weight of the user.
Attention!
An error can lead to
extremely serious consequences, any installation method and use different from
what indicated is to be considered forbidden.

4) COMPATIBILITY.
Hook Rest supports are only compatible with the following Climbing Technology
harnesses: Axess QR, Axess QR Ascender, Work Tec, Work Tec QR, Work Tec
140.
Attention!
Before using the harness that is going to be equipped with Hook
Rest supports, make sure you have read and understood both the general and
specific instructions that must accompany each harness.
5) ISTRUCTIONS FOR USE.
Hook Rest supports have been designed exclusively for the attachment of the
carabiners of a fall arrest lanyard when the equipment as a whole (Fig. 4.1) or an
arm of it (Fig. 5) are not in use. Hook Rest supports are designed to release the
connector when it undergoes a load greater than a few kilograms, in order not to
interfere with the opening of the energy absorber in the case of a fall (Fig. 4.3).
5.1 - Installation / removal.
Install Hook Rest support as shown (Fig. 3.2) by
threading it through the specific strap (Fig. 3.1) available on all compatible har-
ness models. To remove the connector, follow the procedure’s steps in reverse
order.
