Removing the FDD

Removing the Floppy Disk Drive

1) Turn off the computer.
2) Turn the computer over.
3) Locate the DVD / FDD cover  .
4) Unscrew and remove the cover .
5) Lift the white plastic piece which holds

the FDD cable in place  .

6) Pull out the FDD cable  .
7) Grasp the FDD tab and gently PULL

the FDD out of the computer  .
