User’s Guide

The Floppy Disk Drive (FDD)

About the FDD

The computer is equipped with a removable 1.44 MB, 3.5" floppy

disk drive module.  It is usually designated drive A  by default and can be
used as a boot device if properly set in the SCU (please refer to Chapter
6, BIOS Utilities).  You may replace the floppy disk drive module with a
120 MB LS-120 drive (12.7 mm height) or a 12.7 mm high 2.5" hard
disk drive.  Contact your dealer for details.

Using the FDD
Inserting/Removing Diskettes

When using the floppy drive, always insert your floppy diskette label-

side up.  To remove your diskette, press the eject button on the top-right
corner of the floppy drive.
