Installation:
•
Locate the installation position.
•
Remove the front trim piece, by levering one of the corners then pulling the rest of the trim off.
•
Remove the front Diffuser by undoing the 4 screws holding it in place then lever it out.
•
Remove Gear tray by undoing the 3 screws holding it in place (using a suitable screwdriver)
•
Position the product in the mounting position either Wall or Ceiling, Pre-drill mounting holes (Image
showing it below).
•
Wall Mount pull back the Seal Tab to expose holes. You can feed your screwdriver through these
to allow you to easily screw the screws. (image Below).
•
Mount product using suitable fixings (including consideration of maintaining the IP rating).
•
Bring in supply cables via the rear entry hole or via the ends of the base you will need to drill a
suitable hole where cable entry is required.
•
The product is designed to take a Maximum M25 Cable Gland/ conduit adaptor. A suitable cable
diameter will need to be selected when Cable Gland used, consult Manufacturer datasheet.
•
Seal Cable entry and Mounting holes appropriately to maintain the IP Rating stated on the
Technical Label.
•
Terminate the supply cables to the unswitched Live, Neutral & Earth terminals (in the case of the
–
DALI or
–DATA fittings terminate the cable to the polarity insensitive terminals marked Da Da or
DATA).
•
Ensure the Battery is connected. Push the gear tray back into position make sure that the clips on
the back are properly engaged, secure in place using the three screws.
•
Verify that the seal is still in its channel then attach the diffuser and secure with screw, make sure
that the bottom clips are properly engaged, attach the top Trim.
If the CTP capabilities are activated, please affix the CTP status label to a visible surface and Four
Segment Marking on the product will include an “F” in third segment block.
Note:
This luminaire (with reinforced insulation between control/LED terminal and AC supply) contains non-
user replaceable light source and battery - to be replaced (if required, refer installation instructions for
battery replacement) by Clevertronics service personnel/agents or a registered electrician.
Trouble Shooting:
Below are a list of common problems and their possible causes.
Fault:
The Green LED Test Switch indicator is not illuminated.
Check: A.C. is connected and is turned on.
Battery is connected
Test Switch for damage.
Fault:
Lamp does not illuminate in emergency mode.
Check: A.C. is connected.
Lamp is correctly inserted.
Battery is connected
Fault:
Lamp illuminates in emergency mode, but only stays on for a short period.
Check:
Battery has been allowed to charge for at least 24 hours.
Battery for damage.
