To use the service brake, just press the brake pedal and the springs in the brake shoes will bring
it back to the standby position.
To use the parking brake, press the pedal and at the same time lower the top lever to stop the
pedal from springing back. To release, just press the lever or the pedal.
IMPORTANT: when the parking brake is released, the pedal will spring up with a force equal to
that of the brake shoe springs. Keep the feet and other limbs well clear.
