To access the Directory via Contacts:
1.
In Contacts, select
Directory
by pressing down with the Navigation
arrows.
2.
Select the Directory tab, select the number to dial and press
Dial

2.7.2.1 Online Directory Registration
Enables the Directory connection registration. Activates the rest of the Directory
settings.
2.7.2.2 Server Type
Directory server type. If unsure, contact your system administrator.
LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) servers are very common.
2.7.2.3 Server Address
Directory Server
’
s IP Address.
2.7.2.4 Server Port
Number of the port through which COLLABORATE Live establishes a
connection to the server.
2.7.2.5 Server Path
Folder in which contains your user information, as created on the Online
Directory.
2.7.2.6 Server Domain
Server’s
domain name for the Directory.
2.7.2.7 User Name and User Password
Your user name and password as defined on the Directory server.
Note the following:
•
In the Standalone/Gatekeeper mode, either the ILS or iPlanet servers should
be installed for the directory.
•
Consult with your system administrator regarding the installation/
configuration of these servers.
