Danger of Electric Shock and Fire
■
Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate it outdoors, in rooms
with high humidity or on hot surfaces.
■
Do not use the device if highly
fl
ammable gases are present in the air. Never operate
the device in the vicinity of a gas source.
■
Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching
fi
re. Do
not insert anything into the ventilation openings of the device and make sure that
these do not become clogged.
■
Do not place any combustible materials or materials that melt easily (such as card-
board, plastic, paper or candles) on or in the device.
■
Never set up or use the device in the vicinity of highly
fl
ammable materials (curtains,
textiles, etc.).
■
Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■
Do not use the mains adapter with a different device and never charge the cordless
vacuum cleaner with a different mains adapter. Only ever use the mains adapter
which is supplied with this cordless vacuum cleaner.
■
The mains adapter should only be connected to a plug socket that has been prop-
erly installed. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection. The
mains voltage must match the technical data for the mains adapter (see the "Techni-
cal Data" chapter).
■
Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket in the event of a thunderstorm.
■
Always pull the mains adapter and never the cable!
■
The motor unit must be switched off when you connect or remove the mains adapter.
■
The device may only be placed in the charging station if the collecting container has
been fully emptied.
Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device
■
Always check the device and accessories for damage before putting them into op-
eration. If the device, the mains adapter, the cable or the
fi
lter shows visible signs of
damage, the device must not be used.
■
Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned or sharp foreign bodies (e.g. shards of
glass) have been sucked up. Have the device checked by a specialist.
■
In the event of damage/faults, switch the device off immediately.
■
The device should only be used when it is fully and correctly assembled.
The collect-
ing container,

lter compartment and seals must be inserted and must not
be damaged!
If the dirt were to get inside the device, this could damage the motor.
■
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature
fl
uctuations,
open
fi
re, direct sunlight, and do not expose the motor unit to any moisture or wet
conditions.
■
Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
■
Never place heavy objects on the device.
■
Empty and clean the collecting container after each use. The
fi
lter must also be reg-
ularly cleaned in order to prevent overloading of the motor.
■
Never leave the device switched on when it is unsupervised.
