Cleaning the HEPA Filter
The HEPA
fi
lter is located in the
fi
lter unit in the dust container and should be cleaned
regularly to ensure that the suction power of your vacuum cleaner does not diminish and the
motor is not overloaded.
1. Hold down the release button on the handle of the dust
container and detach the dust container from the vacuum
cleaner.
2. Open the dust container by releasing the fastener clip (A)
and folding up the dust container lid.
3. Remove the HEPA
fi
lter (B) by pulling it out.
4. Below the HEPA
fi
lter there is another foam
fi
lter. Remove it
for cleaning.
5. Tap the HEPA dust
fi
lter out over an open dustbin. Clean the
fi
lter using a brush if neces-
sary. Never clean the HEPA
fi
lter with water to prevent damage to the
fi
lter!
6. Tap the foam
fi
lter out over an open dustbin. If necessary, you can rinse the foam
fi
lter
with clear, cold water. Then allow the
fi
lter to dry completely before you insert it again.
7. Place the dry foam
fi
lter back into the
fi
lter unit.
8. Insert the HEPA
fi
lter back into the
fi
lter unit.
9. Close the dust container lid. The fastener clip must be heard to lock in place.
