Cleaning the HEPA Filter
1. Twist the
fi
lter compartment cover (

) anticlockwise and take it off.
2. Remove the HEPA
fi
lter from the
fi
lter compartment.
3. Tap out the HEPA
fi
lter and clean it with a soft brush if necessary.
IMPORTANT:
Do
not wet-clean the HEPA
fi
lter!
4. Clean the cover and the
fi
lter compartment with a brush if necessary or wipe with a
damp cloth.
5. Insert the HEPA
fi
lter back into the
fi
lter compartment, put on the cover and twist
clockwise to secure.
Cleaning the Main Unit and Accessories
• Wipe down the main unit (

), the extension tubes (

), the combi nozzle (

) and the
fl
oor nozzle (

) with a damp, soft cloth if necessary. Then dry with a soft cloth.
• Regularly remove hair and
fl
uff from the nozzles and brushes.
Storage
• Store the device and all accessories in a cool, dry place which is protected from direct
sunlight and is out of the reach of children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
Problem
Possible cause / solution
The device generates no
suction.
• Is the mains plug not inserted in the plug socket
correctly? Correct the
fi
t of the mains plug.
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug sock-
et.
• Has the fuse in the electrical distributor (fuse box)
been triggered? Reduce the number of devices in
the circuit.
Low suction force.
• Is the dust container (

) full? Empty the dust container.
• Is the HEPA
fi
lter heavily clogged up? Clean it in
accordance with the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter.
• Is the suction opening (
1
) blocked? Switch off the
device and remove the blockage.
• Is the nozzle or the extension tube clogged? Switch off
the device and remove the blockage.
• It is also possible that some smaller items will remain
stuck to the carpet or will be too big/heavy to be
picked up by the device. Remove these foreign
objects by hand.
