You can wind up the mains cable at the bottom part.

Problem Possible Cause Remedy
The appliance does not
switch on.
The appliance has no power supply. Check the power socket with another appliance.
Insert the mains plug correctly.
Check the house fuse.
The appliance is defective. Contact our service department or a specialist.
After operating without water or with too
little water, the appliance has not yet cooled
down sufficiently.
Let the appliance cool down for 15 minutes.
The appliance switches
off before cooking.
The heating base is severely calcified or the
electric circuit of the socket is overloaded.
Descale according to instructions.
Check the mains connection.
The appliance does not
switch off.
The lid is not closed or the filter is not
inserted.
Close the lid until it clicks into place or replace
the filter.
The appliance switches
on again automatically
when placed on the base.
The switch is in position I . Set the switch to position O .
