COOLING SYSTEM FILLING/DRAINING DEVICE
• To begin the operation, open the filling valve (orange hose) (Fig.9). Set the "Air flow" valve
to "Pressure" and the "Tank" valve to "New" (Fig.8). To avoid accidentally pressurizing
the system, the pressure exerted will be limited by the device to 0.5bar.
The operation should take between 3 and 5 minutes.
ATTENTION: If the filling is not done immediately after the draining (open
circuit cold engine), it will be necessary to put the circuit under vacuum
beforehand. To do this, follow the instructions in steps 1 and 2 again.
• Before starting the filling process, it is important to check that the system is properly
sealed. To do so, hold the vacuum in the circuit for a few seconds. If the needle of the
pressure gauge on the waste fluid tank rises, there is probably a leak in the circuit. If the
needle remains in place, you can close the suction valve of the Y-adapter (Fig. 2) while
leaving the cone in place in the vessel for filling.
• When all the new fluid in the tank has been transferred to the system, close the filling
valve and turn the two valves on the front panel to OFF (Fig. 1 and Fig. 2).
• Remove the cone from the expansion tank and carefully place it on its holder. Replace
the cap on the expansion tank. Start a purge phase by starting the installer and letting
it run until the fan starts. Then check the fluid level in the expansion tank and adjust the
level if necessary with the machine or with a pitcher.
The replacement operation is complete.
