Safety
• Handle the product with care, making sure not
to damage the surface of the solar cell and
ensuring that it is not covered with dust or
affected by other contaminants.
• The product must not be changed or modified
in any way.
• Do not let children play with the product.
Responsible disposal
Never use non-rechargeable batteries
with the product.
Instructions for use
• When placing the lantern outdoors, make sure
that it has access to maximum sunlight and
is not affected by other light sources such as
street lights.
• When the battery is fully charged, the lantern
will shine for approximately 8 hours at dusk/in
the dark.
1. Set the switch to the
ON
position.
2. Place the lantern in a suitable outdoor location.
3. Comes on automatically at dusk (as long as
the battery has been charged).
If the lantern does not shine
• Make sure that the power switch is set to
the
ON
position.
• The battery is discharged. Make sure
the lantern/solar cell is exposed to sunlight.
• The surface of the solar cell is dirty. Carefully
wipe the solar cell clean using a damp cloth.
Care and maintenance
Clean the exterior of the lantern by wiping it with
a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
This symbol indicates that this
product should not be disposed
of with general household waste.

to the environment or health
hazards caused by incorrect waste
disposal, the product must be
handed in for recycling so that
the material can be disposed of
in a responsible manner. When
recycling your product, take it
