Assembly
This aerial is very simple to assemble and connect. It is suitable for caravans,
campervans and home use. In a residence, for the best signal reception the aerial
should be placed outside, such as directly outside a window or on a balcony.
Fitting the mast bracket
Pass the U-bolt through the holes
in the mast bracket and screw
the bracket to the aerial using
the 4 screws.
Mounting on a mast
Position the aerial on the mast, pass
the clamping plate over the ends of
the U-bolt and fasten the bracket
using the two wing nuts.
Note:
The picture shows how the aerial
should be mounted to receive
horizontally polarised signals (the most
common). For vertically polarised
signals, the aerial should be installed
vertically. In order to mount the aerial
vertically, the mast bracket needs to
be turned through 90 degrees.
